ABOUT US
Who We Are
OLSAR is a grassroots organization committed to improving the lives of landmine survivors and amputees in Rwanda.
As a proud member of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines and the Cluster Munitions Coalition (ICBL-CMC), we work tirelessly to raise awareness, provide support, and advocate for policies that promote safety and dignity.
Brief History
Founded in 2016, OLSAR emerged in response to the devastating impact of landmines on Rwandan communities. Over the years, we have grown into a national organization that offers medical, psychosocial, and economic support while advocating for mine clearance and survivor rights.
Vision
A Rwanda where landmine survivors live with dignity and are fully integrated into society.
Mission
To support landmine survivors and amputees through medical and psychosocial services, advocate for their rights, and promote mine clearance to create a safe environment for all.
